2022 - my year of ridiculously long COVID-19 and general discombobulation…
Not much art (or anything) has happened in the Nunu Art Studio so far in 2022, but the 3rd quarter is looking brighter with at least 3 private commissions in various stages of evolution and the promise of regaining momentum on some very special projects that have been “on the shelf” for way too long - my heart strings are almost healed enough to feel the pull again. All of my investments in Band-aids are starting to haunt me, too, so I better use them up! I do accept ongoing donations of the knuckle and fingertip variety. (snort snort)
Nevertheless, if you’re visiting my page, THANK YOU! My first leaded window!
In late September I took a workshop at Wabi-Sabi in North Wilkesboro, NC and learned leading techniques of stained glass windows. It was amazingly fun and I’m in love with my window! Michael is a natural teacher and his skills are insane! Wabi-Sabi Workshops

A piece for a cause.
I love this piece! I am so proud of it. Not only because it turned out really well, but it is also for a an annual wine event called Uncork the Cure. It is fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis research. My friend Kate asked me to make this for the silent auction portion of the event. Kate and her husband Jay have been Cystic Fibrosis researchers for most of their careers. They have dedicated their lives to making a difference in the lives of those affected by this disease. Their amazing work has been a part of the advances that have been made over the years through clinical research.
